Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is system of processes, procedures, guidelines and Documentation that helps to ensure that the products are produced and controlled in a consistent manner as per the quality standards set by different authorities/ regulating bodies in various industries. These standards are recommended for the purpose of sales and licensing of food, drug and health care products along with active Pharmaceutical products. GMP guidelines and regulation address many issues that influence the safety and quality of a product. Following are the few areas that are identified in GMPs:
